Which pixels a layer owns.
uint8_t hitlib::LedStrand::LayerSpan::start
First pixel.
uint8_t hitlib::LedStrand::LayerSpan::width
Pixels.
0 means "to the end of the strand".
uint8_t hitlib::LedStrand::LayerSpan::stride
0 draws one span; otherwise repeat it every N pixels.
A repeat is never wider than N, so a span wider than the stride (width 0 included) shows its first N pixels in each and no pixel is drawn twice.
bool hitlib::LedStrand::LayerSpan::continuous
With stride, sample the animation at the strand-wide pixel index rather than restarting it in each repeat.
This is the difference between one scroll cut into windows (what spliceMask()'s shared overlay does) and N synchronized copies of it. The motion runs across the whole strand as well, so a scroll, a bounce or a sparkle passes through every window rather than the first alone.
