Detailed Description

One layer of a Composition: what it draws, where, when, what moves it, and how it lands on the layers below it.

A layer with no timing and no bindings, drawn OVER the whole strand, is exactly one of the preset animations. Everything else here is what a splice region, the overlay buffer and the sequencer could each do separately, made available to all of them at once.

Note
No default member initializers, deliberately: that keeps this a C++11 aggregate, so the PROS and VEXcode exports brace-initialize it with the same characters and both keep it const, in flash. Defaults live in Pattern Studio, which is where a user-facing default belongs. Groups a kind ignores are written {}.
